The correct case is identified using the four-digit A model number printed on the underside of your MacBook. Turn your laptop over and look for a code such as A2337, A2681 or similar. Select that exact model number from the options above.
Do not choose your case based only on the year or screen size. Apple has released MacBooks with similar screen sizes but different exterior dimensions and case fittings.

How to install the MacBook case
The case snaps into place and requires no tools or adhesives. Install the printed top shell first, followed by the matte transparent bottom cover:
- Place the top shell gently over your MacBook display and align the edges correctly.
- Press gently along the edges with both hands until the clips are secured.
- Align the bottom cover with the underside of your MacBook and insert the tabs first.
- Press each remaining clip gently until the bottom cover is securely attached.
To remove the case, gently release the clips starting from the corners. Because no adhesive is used, it does not leave sticky residue on your MacBook.
